Cape Sounion Half Day Private Tour
The Cape Sounion tour is a half - day trip that is considered the most enjoyable and attractive trip inside the Attica region. It’s a 65-kilometer curvy, coastal drive to the Temple of Poseidon, the God of the sea. We drive along Saronic Gulf, the Athenian Riviera.
Our first stop on the way to Cape Sounion is the lake of Vouliagmeni with it’s healing waters. Surrounding the lake are numerous caves and underwater corridors that nobody has managed to fully explore. A few who tried to find out where the caves lead where lost inside them. Don't try it....
Continuing our coastal drive we will stop to a very nice traditional Greek restaurant on the sea. Enjoy lunch or dinner (if you choose to take this trip in the afternoon) of fresh grilled fish or have a traditional Greek meal.
At the end we will reach the magnificent ancient temple dedicated to the God of the Sea, Poseidon, at Cape Sounion with a marvelous view of Saronic Gulf, before we return to Athens. This tour can also be done in the afternoon allowing yourself to witness an absolutely breathtaking sunset from the Temple.

Ancient Corinth Half Day Private Tour
We start traveling along the Saronic Gulf’s coastal road to the Corinth Canal. The Canal is a structure of great importance, as before it was built, ships sailing between the Aegean and Adriatic Seas had to circumnavigate the Peloponnese, adding about 185 nautical miles to their journey. The original idea for making the canal was conceived by Periander the tyrant of Corinth back in 602 B.C. and the one that finally started the project in 1830 was Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first governor of Greece. This was after the liberation from the Ottoman Turks, and finished in 1893 after several stops and restarts. If you want and dare, you can try bungee jumping off this historical canal wall.
Next, visit the ruins of the city of ancient Corinth and the Bema where St. Paul spoke to the Corinthians. A historical place for both the Byzantines and the ancient Greeks. Also we visit the Ancient Corinth Museum before we take our way back to Athens.
